Cobalt 22 Gold Leaf Fused Glass Plate Marian Fieldson
Marian has developed a unique glass casting technique that is inspired by the undulating lava flows outside her home in Kilauea. Her glass sheets are made by stacking and firing torch-worked glass threads, color shards, and powders of dichroic glass into lava molds to form new glass sheets. Taking the design of lava and including gold accents in 22 karat gold makes each platter unique, and each is signed and numbered. This plate style is called “Cobalt”.
